To be eligible you must meet several requirements : 

-You must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years with no longer than 450 days spent In the UK

 (You can apply for Citizenship by birth/descent or by marriage if you have spent the past 3 years in the UK with Settled Status)

-You must be able to prove your permanent residence status

-You must prove that you hold ILR or Settled Status

-You must have passed English Language requirement and Life in the UK

-You must be able to justify any absences from the UK

-You must meet the Good Character requirement including no criminal record

-You must hold ILR for the past 12 months
