Overseas Employer

The new Global Business Mobility route is suitable for those undertaking specialist or senior work temporarily in the UK on behalf of their company, this has facilitated a greater degree of flexibility for businesses to expand into the UK.

(We can also assist you with  Representative of an Overseas Business visa or the Overseas Domestic Worker visa)

To be eligible for these visas, you must meet several requirements : 

-Have a valid certificate of sponsorship from your employer

-Have worked for your employer outside the UK

-Do a job that’s on the list of eligible occupations

-Be paid the minimum eligible salary required for your job

The visa permits individuals to remain in the UK for up 2 weeks after the time required by their employer, this can be extended by a further 12 months, but unfortunately the visa cannot be used to apply for ILR or settlement. Limited work and travel is permitted as well as bringing a partner/dependants along however, you cannot change jobs, take a secondary job or change jobs.
